I know you probably heard a lot of weight loss tips out there on the internet and you may be wondering if you are going to hear the same things.
Well in this post, I’m going to share with you the best weight loss tips that I think a lot of content creator miss which I think are crucial to your weight loss journey.
But first, let’s take a look at why you’re not losing weight.
The Key Reasons You Are Not Losing Weight
You Give Up Way Too Early
A lot of people fail because they do not have the heart to keep going. I get it, you want to lose weight as fast as you can but giving up way to early doesn’t help.
But this is not entirely your fault. It is probably because you bought a lie. If you heard things like rapid weight loss where you can burn 20 pounds in 2 days or something like that, know that you were being lured into a scam.
But don’t get me wrong, some rapid weight loss methods work but they are not healthy.
When you are on a weight loss journey, you need to know that it’s going to take time to achieve your goal.
Having The Wrong Expectations
This one goes hand in hand with my first point. If you have the wrong expectations, it’s easy to end up feeling discouraged.
Those who managed to lose weight know that weight loss is a journey and the goal must be a long term one.
Since people lose weight for different reasons, you need to understand that your reasons for weight loss might not be the same as mine, therefore we won’t approach the challenge the same way.
Note: Weight loss is a transformation journey, therefore your perspective towards weight loss must be crystal clear. Don’t buy into unrealistic weight-loss promises.
I usually give my clients about a month to see any difference in their weight loss, even though I know that they will see their progress much much earlier.
This will give them the right impression and expectations.
Wanting To Change But Not Willing To Work For It
How many weight loss posts have you read? probably a ton, right? Then WHY haven’t you lost any weight?
Okay, I know that some of you may have brought programs that couldn’t help you so it’s not your fault. But I know that a lot of you have not lost weight because you did not take action.
It’s easy to read five to ten posts in one day about weight loss but getting started is another story. Perhaps you lack the motivation but let me tell you if you don’t start, then you won’t finish.
You Don’t Know Where To Start
Some of you do have the courage to get started. Maybe started doing some workouts but you lack the knowledge to help you lose weight the right way.
There are many programs out there, websites such as this one, and Youtube channels that you can take a look at and get started.
Do not forget that we are living in the Age of the internet, meaning that finding what you want has never been easier. Now let’s take a look at the weight loss tips you came here for.
5 Weight Loss Tips You Never Heard Before
#1 Learn How It Feels To Be In A Calorie Deficit
Let yourself know how it feels to be in a caloric deficit state. Being in a caloric deficit state is actually the state you have to go through in order to lose weight.
This is because, in order for you to lose weight, you need to have a gap between the calories that you burn and the calories that you consume.
Once you know how your body feels when you are in a caloric deficit state, you won’t need to count calories anymore.
The best time to check for this is in the morning because that’s when you start to feel the effects of being in a caloric deficit state.
#2 Get Yourself Into A Fitness Group
I may not be a fan of this and maybe you’re just like me but getting yourself in a fitness group is very effective.
There are a lot of benefits of doing this, namely getting structure, community, and accountability.
Are also in a schedule that helps you be organized in your weight loss routine.
You can also find people that are dependant on you in order to reach their weight loss goals because as time goes on, you’ll start to transform.
That transformation will then motivate others to join you and also ask you how you did it.
#3 Give Your Self Some Daily Deserts
Getting credit can be a good motivator.
Deserts are a great way to give yourself credit and don’t feel a little too detached from your former self.
But You must also keep an eye on your calorie intake. Make sure that those daily deserts don’t take you out of your calorie deficit because you won’t lose any weight.
The reason you’re doing this is that you don’t want to put yourself in a nutrition prison. You might end up snapping and going back to your former self.
In order to do this, I suggest eating 1 or 2 cookies a day. This is just an example. The big thing is to be on the lookout for the calories you eat.
#4 Keep Yourself Hydrated All The Time
As you may already know, water helps cleanse your body inside and out. Hydration also helps your muscles and joints work better when you are exercising.
Water aids weight loss not just helping your muscles and joints work better but also in boosting your metabolism. It can also help by becoming an appetite suppressant.
#5 Find A Mentor Or A Health Group
Might not be for you but having a mentor is a good start. Having someone to introduce you to a supportive community is very important.
Mentors and support groups are a good source of motivation. That is because you meet people who are also on the same journey as you.
They are very relatable meaning that they won’t judge you. In fact, they can easily share some tips that can help you battle your fears and obstacle that you may come across within your weight loss journey.
Unfortunately, I do not have a group but you can easily find them on Facebook. You just search the “Weight loss group” and you will find a lot of them.
Bonus Tip, Have A Diet Plan
People make the mistake of doing workouts without first having a diet plan in place. When you go to the gym for weight loss without a proper diet plan, chances are, you are going to fail.
That is because the amount of calories you eat is greater than the calories you burn in the gym. So in order to start your weight loss the right way, you need to have a weight loss diet plan.
I have created a guide that has been helping a lot of my clients escape the days of feeling insecure about their bodies.
This FREE 3 Step Rapid Weight Loss Guide has been able to change the mindset and transform the way they used to feel about weight loss. In this guide, I break weight loss into a simple 3 step process that is done simultaneously.
What I really love about this guide is the feedback I get from my clients. They report losing about 10 to 20 pounds of weight in a month or less.
