If you want a money-making blog, or if you already have a blog and want to know how to earn money blogging, then you are in the right place.
I know that if you are reading this post, you have never managed to make money from your blog and you are curious about what to expect.
I am going to lay out everything for you.
The questions that I’m going to answer are the ones that a lot of you have been asking me and some of them are the ones that I had when I started my first blog.
So, you are not alone. I’ve been there before and I want you to know that it’s okay to have these kinds of questions.
How Much Do Other Bloggers Make?
In order to answer this question, we’re are going to consider some factors.
I want you to understand that there are those that make a lot of money, and there are some that make very little, and also those that make nothing at all.
- Blogging As a Hoby – If you fall under this category then you are probably not going to make any money through your blog. if you treat your blog as a hobby, chances are you are not willing to make necessary sacrifices like time, and more.
- Blogging As A Business – This was my eye-opener because, the moment I said to myself “this is my business and my top priority”, my I started to notice some of the things that were hurting my blog success.
- Your Blog Topic – there are a lot of blog topics out there. In fact, you can blog about anything you can think of but there are blog topics that generate a lot of money. such as, Make money topics, Relationships, and Health and Fitness. But you can still make a lot of money even if you are not in one of these if you follow my next point!
- The Amount Work You Put In – This is a game-changer. I’ve seen blogs created around those big topics making almost nothing online. the reason was the amount of work towards those blogs was disappointing. I could see that someone was just out to make a quick buck.
How you treat your blog is the only key that will decide whether you break the “Little To No Money At All” To Making “Consistent Income“.
How Do Bloggers (Including You) Make Money?
As far as I know and what I have experienced, there are few ways to make multiple streams of income within your blog. So I’m going to give you a shortlist.
I won’t lie to you but this is where I first received my first paid cheque for my online blog. Although it wasn’t from this blog but from one of my failed blogs. Yes! some of my failed blogs have made me some money in the beginning.
You can join one of the few programs like:
- Mediavine ( My Favorite )
- Media.net ( Where I got My first Paid Cheque )
- Google Adsense
These are the ones that I have experience with and have made my research on.
Selling Your Own Product
Although I have never made my own product, I know for a fact that they can generate a good amount of income. With the product being either a Digital product or a Physical product, you can generate a life-changing income.
Some have already managed to quit their jobs and focused on giving out their information by selling their products.
What I do and have made a couple of sales from is what I’m going to talk about next.
Although I’m planning on creating my own product, I still need to figure out what you guys need because it’s not just about me making money but helping you reach your needs
Affiliate marketing is selling other people’s products (Digital or Physical products) and get a commission for selling that product.
This is a form of making money I highly support for beginners because it teaches you the basics of selling a product online.
The best way to do affiliate marketing within your blog is to recommend products that you have personal experience with or products you know for sure that they will bring value to your readers.
Note: Every product you suggest to your readers should always bring them value. Do Not recommend shitty products. Your readers are for life, but the product may simply be temporal.
Do not trade your full-time supporters for a quick buck. Remember, this is a business.
Doing Sponsored Posts
Okay, I’ve never done sponsored posts before but basically, it’s when someone pays you to write a piece of content on your website promoting some sort of a brand or services.
How Much Can You Make Blogging Honeyguide?
Last year alone I’ve made over $14,000 and I made that by the last 7 months. Then the worst happened, my blog got compromised and I had to shut it down.
What Does A Blogger Do?
Two words, Content Creation.
I love to define my way of blogging to be trying new things and learning new skills then share the experience with my readers which is you guys.
I also recommend products that I have a personal experience with. Although, as a blogger, there are a lot of things that you need to take care of.
- Doing Keyword research
- Writing blog posts that your readers need
- Writing emails for your readers
- Answering questions on the comment
Sometimes I spend time reading other people’s blogs and read about their success in order to gain motivation.
What almost Nobody talks about is the amount of money you spend on your blog
What I love to do is to keep track of the amount of money I spend on my blog before and after my blog start to generate some revenue.
I think if you keep track of your blog spending, you end up knowing very well on the amount of money you need on your blog budget.
How Long Does It Take To Make Money Blogging?
Asking a question like this one is like asking how long does it take to finish your courses at university. It takes time, and some of the courses take longer than others.
This boils down to one single thing! The amount of time you put in and the hard work. If you sacrifice your time and put your heart and soul into it, then you are bound to make it on your blogging world.
For some people, it may take a month or two but for some, it takes 6 months. Some never make anything.
For me, it took six months but I had to fail more than once to create a blog that generated some income.
Once you have decided what you want to blog about then, you better get started because getting started can be soo hard for some people.
a lot of people aren’t even able to get started because they do not have enough courage to do so.
So, Get Started Right Now!
